Ann Arbor Orthodontist

Looking for an orthodontist in Ann Arbor, MI? According to my latest query there are 31 dentists or orthodontists that practice orthodontics in Ann Arbor.
In order to become an orthodontist you’ll need to complete a four year college degree, attend an ADA (American Dental Association) accredited dental school for another four years and get your DDS – Doctor of Dental Surgery, or a DMD – Doctor of Dental Medicine. Then you’ll need a two to three year orthodontics residency and study program to learn how to properly and safely align teeth and jaws.
No wonder it costs so much to have your teeth straightened. I should know. In the last several years, my kids have had braces three times each and I decided to go get braces again when my lower and upper front teeth started touching each other and moving out of place.
Luckily I had seen the great work of my kid’s Ann Arbor orthodontist, Dr. Brust, when we lived in Dearborn, MI. Dr. Brust has an office in Taylor, MI and in Ann Arbor, MI. When I ended up in Ann Arbor it made the orthodontists visits so much more convenient, given that he was located on Stadium near Maple Rd where they intersect to the east of Westgate shopping center.
I’m sure the other orthodontists in Ann Arbor are great but I highly recommend Dr. Brust. Why? Well I’m convinced of his skill but when you go there it’s fun! He’s got a great personality and everyone in the office is really helpful and friendly. He tells jokes fit for a kid and always has a new joke or riddle for you. He remembers you and your kids and he’s always smiling.
While you’re waiting you can play video games in the patient lounge. I just noticed Guitar Hero yesterday. He’s got way better dentist office music than my regular dentist, rockin’ it out from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s for the parents and today’s best hits for the kids.
And he has many different payment plans too. Pay up front or spread it out. Their staff will help you with your insurance to make sure you get the best claim. What’s not to like?
So who is your favorite Ann Arbor orthodontist and why do you like him or her?
