Only in America

Ann Arbor isn’t exactly where one would go to pick up some good sushi. But the sushi and seafood in Ann Arbor is excellent. He started out a former computer genius and now he owns his own Sushi restaurant. This article just goes to show that you can do whatever you want if you put your mind to it. This can only be done in America. I think it’s great. He did things right. He picked his location away from other downtown sushi bars. He placed it next to the highway so hopefully he has high walk-in traffic. He hired himself a chef to control product taste and consistency. He did everything right from the start. Will it last?

I think that sushi in Ann Arbor is an incredibly risky venture. However, he did research and work at a sushi restaurant for a year, so he should be well versed. Incredibly in this time of economical downturn, people are still able to get the money they need to start their own business enterprise. I hope he does well. As I said before, he has a great location away from most of the competition. He selected a great sushi menu, and his prices are reasonable. This has all the ingredients for a well run restaurant. Now he can only sit back and see if he makes it!

  • Gail Quarton says:

Who is this “he” you are talking about and where is the restaurant and what is it called? When did it open? I’m curious, and this article is so cryptic — I feel like I started reading in the middle of a longer article.

There are several thriving sushi restaurants in Ann Arbor — seems to be a very popular kind of food. I guess Ann Arborites have eclectic taste — many kinds of ethnic food places do quite well here, from Indian to Korean to Thai to Japanese and Chinese. I’m sure there are more as well.

If there’s a new Sushi Restaurant, I want to try it! Please let us know what it is!

    Thanks!

  • Yeah. Sorry about that. I had another person writing short posts for a while but like you said, it’s cryptic and information is missing. That guy is gone now.

My favorite sushi in Ann Arbor is Miki. The people there are extremely friendly and the food is great too.
