The Ann Arbor Kirtan
Ann Arbor Kirtan is a non-profit group composed of talented musicians and singers coming from different disciplines of yoga. For them, chanting is a spiritual practice. They offer free public kirtan to both local and global communities. They would like to encourage everyone to participate and experience kirtan. Who can join the Ann Arbor Kirtan? This is all about you! Anyone can join because the experience of kirtan requires people like you.
Kirtan has been used as a healing method. It can calm the mind. The instruments that the members play include play Indian and western instruments. There are harmonium, cello, guitar, flute, and many more.
You are welcome to join them at the next Ann Arbor Kirtan on July 16, 2010.
